Being a single mother at a very young age can be difficult. Not only will you need to worry about the welfare of your child, you also have to worry about continuing your education. So how can a single mother at age of eighteen afford to go to college and take care of her child at the same time? Fortunately, the government can provide you with a financial aid to ease the burden for you.

Being A Teenage Mother Is Not Glamorous I have heard young girls say "I want to have a baby", and it makes me sad for them. These girls have no idea what they are saying, or what they are getting themselves into. Yes having a baby is a wonderful, joyous, happy moment in a womens life, but o­nly when that women is mature, responosble, and old enough.

I was 14 when I got pregnant, it was the first time I had sex, and I was dating an older guy, he was 19. I thought I was smart, and knew what I was doing, but when the issue of sex came up, I had no idea what I was doing. I let him call the shots and that included not using protection (At the time there were no drug stores in my town open o­n Sunday). I realized I was pregnant not long after, and I was scared to death.
