upsets me greatly when, in this world, people feel the need to cheat and steal

Parents World has had an ongoing issue with oneparentfamily.com (also known,
among many other URL's, as oneparentfamily.co.uk) stealing our logo and
content and, sadly, we have to put up this page just so we can officially say
we are in NO WAY affiliated with this scum. The real Single Parents
World is gearing up to celebrate their 10th year online -- the fake one is entering
its second year of pretending to be us. One parent Families of England and the
entire UK need to beware!

The only messages I have ever left were two DEMANDING that he take down my stuff

Yes, I'd seen The site you mention too. But it makes me laugh that
she devotes a whole page with links to some woman (she describes as crazy) who
was harrassing a site owner - it even mentions a legal response that there are
many sites same name but listed as org., edu, net., etc maybe she should read

I'm
certain this will bring on another tirade from Gareth Crossley and his friends,
but the evidence truly speaks for it self, doesn't it? The
Logo, again. Then, just when you thought one problem had been dealt with,
the original theft of our logo has NOT stopped but is still being used. This is
really the most unbelievable thing I've ever had happen to me. These screen shots
were also taken on March 3rd, 2003. The first screenshot is a picture of it in
use today. The second one is hilarious as he didn't even bother to change the
name of the image after he STOLE it from me! header.jpg is what I call it on my

) Actually, you can still see it in use at our original URL before we owned the

What
I honestly don't understand is that all I've ever asked for the past 18 + months
is that he take my stuff down and stop stealing it. Has he done this? No. Instead
he fights, and cries, and moans. Accuses me of trying to shut his sit e down.
NO. For goodness sake, Gareth, NO. Keep you site, but use your own stuff for a
change! YOU, sir, have tried to get my site shut down -- my host has kept me abreast
of the emails from you. This could all have been over with 18 months ago if you'd
only taken down my logo and NEVER stolen my stuff again. Sadly...you kept at it
and keep at it. Please, PLEASE STOP Why can't you just understand that it is wrong
to steal?? There's no need to make up fake social workers coming to get me, there's
no need to write to my host and Google complaining...JUST STOP. Gareth's
email to my web host: Sadly, Gareth Crossley is upset that
this page is showing up in search engines calling him a thief. He claims that
nothing on his site now or in the past ever was stolen from my site. I say read
on and look at the screen shots. He also claims "I have also wrote to
Google about her and her editor 'rvegan'. Who is a human editor for the Open Project
Directory (google and other search engines get there info from OPD) This is how
she gets google listings so fast. Gareth Crossley's name is now all over Google
saying he is a THEIF because of this editor and its only been posted 2 days. THIS
IS SLANDER! " Um..no one called "rvegan"
is my editor. I run the site by myself, I don't have any editors but me.
No one is bumping up my site in Google, my site has bounced between #1 and #2
for many, many years now. I don't know, maybe it's the 3 million plus hits we
get a month that we have such a good placement?! It is funny that he complains
that I'm 'cheating" to get my site in OPD. I
looked, he's #2 on OPD...I'm not even on the first page. How is that
cheating by me? Does NOT appearing in the directory make you place better in google?
That certainly is news to me. Maybe it's because of here
where they're second and I'm tenth. Yeah, that must be how I'm cheating...
??? Also, I just learned who the real ODP editor is -- It's
Gareth Crossley! See it here. What the heck is this man up to when he makes
the accusation that he made about when HE in fact is the ODP editor? Strangest
thing I've ever seen...And He's upset with being called a LIAR..umm..but he just
keeps on lying. Also, Slander is the spoken word, this
would be Liable. But alas, it's not liable because I am able to show proof
of your stealing. All I ever asked was for you to take my stuff down, and
stop stealing from me. 18 months later, I have proof that you're still doing it.
Until you stop, I won't either. No one steals my stuff, lies about it, and gets

DMCA Complain is ACCEPTED! So, as promised to Gareth Crossley
it was never my intention to remove his site from the internet -- never. My
only wishes were that he'd a) stop stealing
my stuff
b) stop getting search engine placement with MY stuff.
Well
google came through for me. One Parent Family had pages removed under the following
search terms: If
you search using any of those terms go the the page below.. Note also, My official
written complaint gets rated #4 for his site name -- let's see him try to get
THAT taken down like he tried with this page. At the bottom of the search
page is a link saying that some of his links were removed due to copying and a
link to my DMCA complaint.. All I can say is TOLD YOU YOU WERE STEALING!
According to legal steps, Google would have had to contact a representative from
OneParentFamily and allow them to defend himself against this claim and prove
that they had not stolen my graphics/content. I guess all of his posturing to
me that he'd stolen nothing didn't help him much when he had to deal with the
law. He's not wiped out of the search engine, they
just found evidence of his STEALING on those pages they removed. Mr. Crossley
& Janice can finally stop saying "I didn't steal anything". I now
have the final, legal piece of proof I needed.
